We started UnBuy
because we'd all bought too much stuff.
UnBuy is a small Montreal team building a rental platform for the way renters actually live — leases ending, jobs changing, kids growing, apartments getting bigger and smaller. Rent the gear, swap when life shifts, never store another bassinet.

As they were both moving out, they saw how expensive it is to buy everything new. Second-hand on Facebook Marketplace came with risks, difficult transport, unreliable quality — and you still own it all. They wanted to rent instead, but found nothing available. So they built UnBuy.
